Formal training at the Sydney National Art School 1967-1971. Creative studies at various private seminars and workshops. Former tutor TAFE, NSW, Adult Education College ACT, as well as numerous Regional Art workshops and private term classes. Successful solo and group exhibitions, with selected exhibition in Grafton, Tamworth and Goulburn Regional Galleries, spanning 1971 to present day. Major awards in selected exhibitions, the most recent being the Goulburn Regional Gallery 2D Award 2010. An internationally published author, also appearing in overseas and national magazines including Australian Artist #243 magazine. Chris is a uniquely versatile artist, experienced in all media and enjoys exploring new possibilities and techniques. Her work constantly reflects the beauty that surrounds us. It also mirrors that joyful simplicity which brings personal comfort and a sense of well being. The subjects she chooses are eclectic, with glimpses of flowers, old buildings, still life, portraits, waterscape and landscape impressions along with colourful abstracts. Her work is represented in private, corporate and overseas collections. At present she is teaching ‘Art For Fun’ at BDAS .
